Discover how the OANDA Hub simplifies account management, platform integration, funding transfers, and trading workflow customisation for active traders.
In the fast-paced world of trading, efficiency is key. Navigating between multiple platforms to check balances, change leverage, or manage sub-accounts can be a friction point that slows you down.
Enter the OANDA Hub, a "one-stop shop" designed to simplify account management. In this guide, we’ll walk through how to use the Hub to create accounts, manage funds, and customise your trading environment.
Getting started: What is the OANDA Hub?
The OANDA Hub is the centralised management portal for OANDA clients. Instead of hunting through complex menus, the Hub provides a clean, modern interface where you can:
- Monitor all your live and demo accounts at a glance.
- Deposit and withdraw funds.
- Adjust account settings (such as passwords) instantly.
- Access advanced trading tools.
Navigating the Dashboard
Upon logging in, you are greeted by the Dashboard. This is your command centre (see Fig. 1).
- Account overview: You can see your total equity across all accounts and a list of individual account balances.
- Quick actions: Large, intuitive buttons allow you to jump straight to "Deposit," "Withdraw," or "Transfer" between accounts.
Creating and managing sub-accounts
One of the Hub's most powerful features is the ability to create multiple sub-accounts for different strategies.
- Why create sub-accounts? Many traders use separate accounts for "Scalping" vs. "Swing Trading," or to test new automated strategies without risking their main capital.
- How to add an account: Within the Hub, click on the “Accounts” tab on the side bar, look for the "Add New Account" button. You can choose between three different account types; v20, v20 MT4 and crypto. See the table below for more details in terms of respective product offerings and available trading platforms, such as TradingView and MT4.
- Customization: You can nickname your accounts (e.g., "Daily Scalper") to keep your dashboard organized.
| Account Type | Instruments offered | Platforms |
|---|---|---|
| v20 | Forex | Mobile, Web, and TradingView. |
| v20 MT4 | Forex | Mobile, Web, MT4, and TradingView. |
| Cryptocurrency account | Crypto | Mobile and Tradingview |
Funding and Transfers
The OANDA Hub removes the complexity from transferring money:
- Centralized funding: You can manage your payment methods (bank transfers, cards, etc.) in one place. There are two ways you can manage your funding needs. Firstly, under “Dashboard” in the middle-top portion, you can click on the Transfer, Withdraw, and Deposit buttons. Secondly, under the “Accounts” tab on the sidebar, click on the three dotted circles of the respective accounts to manage your funds as well as access account details.
- Internal transfers: If you want to move $1,000 from your "Primary Main Account" to your "MetaTrader Account," the Hub allows for instant internal transfers, ensuring your margin is exactly where you need it, when you need it.
Account Settings, Security, and Reporting
Managing the technical side of your account is significantly faster through the Hub:
- Password Management: If you forget your password or simply want to update it for security, you can reset it in seconds without contacting support. Under the “Profile settings” tab on the sidebar, click on Password management to manage your respective account password settings as well as Two-Factor authentication (2FA).
- Reports: The Hub features a dedicated area to retrieve your transaction and funding history, as well as daily statements and trade confirmations.
Accessing Advanced Tools
Beyond simple management, the Hub serves as a gateway to OANDA’s technical ecosystem
- Downloads: OANDA mobile app, TradingView and MT4 can be easily downloaded via scanning the respective QR codes using either Android or iOS devices. To launch in your browser, just click on the respective links for TradingView and MT4.
- Platform Integration: From the Hub, you can also launch the OANDA Web Trader.
