London, March 02, 2026 – OANDA today announced the strategic transition of its proprietary trading business, OANDA Prop Trader, into the FTMO Group, the undisputed global leader in the modern prop trading space.

Following FTMO’s acquisition of OANDA last year, this transition represents a successful phase designed to provide clients with a superior, specialised trading environment. By offering OANDA Prop Trader clients the opportunity to move to FTMO’s dedicated platform, OANDA will refocus on its award-winning core brokerage operations while continuing to play a key role in supporting the FTMO Group’s broader vision for the future of active trading.

"We are incredibly proud of the client value delivered by OANDA Prop Trader," said Lucian Lauerman, Deputy COO at OANDA. "The successful transition into the FTMO Group allows our prop trading clients to benefit from the world’s most advanced infrastructure and specialised expertise. This move ensures that our clients are offered an enhanced prop trading experience while allowing OANDA to double down on our core mission of providing exceptional brokerage services to global traders."

A Seamless Transition for Clients. The transition is designed to be seamless, with active OANDA Prop Trader clients being offered exclusive migration incentives to join the FTMO platform. Starting March 2, 2026, OANDA will work closely with each client to ensure they are supported throughout the migration. Clients who choose to move will gain access to FTMO’s industry-leading platform, while those who prefer not to transition will be provided with full refunds where applicable. Visit this page for more information.

The formal transition period will conclude on March 31, 2026.
