Congratulations to Andrea Stapley, our Chief Information Security Officer, for being named one of IT World Canada's Top Women in Cybersecurity at the 'Surpassing Expectations' celebration. The event hosted a group of women who excel in the various cybersecurity disciplines.

Andrea has been dedicated to building a mature information security program since joining OANDA last year, collaborating with teams across the company to address outstanding issues and top priorities.

Passionate about embedding a security mindset at all levels of an organisation, Andrea emphasises the importance of going back to basics in cybersecurity, focusing on employee education and awareness in their day-to-day roles to protect our data and our customers.

Commenting on her recognition, Andrea said, "Receiving this award is an honour, as I believe it is important for women who are considering the STEM field or are already working in this field to see other female leaders succeeding in this challenging space. The opportunity to lead the information security program at OANDA allows me to work in a fantastic culture with a world class organization and team".
