Looking for your next trading opportunity but don’t know where to start?
With Topical instruments you can slice and dice the markets based on multiple factors: which instruments are most popular, have recently experienced the greatest increase in traded volume, or have been the most volatile lately. On top of that, you can look at the recent positioning of OANDA clients to find out which instruments are the most net-long and net-short according to their open trades.
The tool allows you to browse the markets based on the following criteria per respective category:
Most Traded
A daily view of max. 50 instruments that are the most traded by our clients globally in the last seven days
High Volume
Hourly-refreshed view of up to 50 instruments across OANDA whose recent trade volume for the day increased significantly versus the average from the last five weeks
Volatile
List of the top 30 instruments whose price has changed (both up and down) the most in the last 30 days
Net-Long
The list has up to 50 instruments having the biggest ratio of net-long positions (ratio of buyers to sellers) held with OANDA in the last 24 hours and being refreshed every five minutes
Net-Short
The list has up to 50 instruments having the biggest ratio of net-short positions (ratio of buyers to sellers) held with OANDA in the last 24 hours and being refreshed every five minutes
Within each category, for each instrument, you see the current bid and ask prices (including the spread), the daily change since open, a little chart showing recent price action and the sentiment (the net ratio of open long to short positions), if available to show.
The ranking in listing takes into account activity across all OANDA tradable instruments narrowed down to include only those available in your region.
