Trading requirements for professional traders

To enter our professional traders account area, you must first qualify as either a ‘wholesale client’ or ‘sophisticated investor’.

Wholesale client

Demonstrate your knowledge by completing a short online test.
You should have at least AU$2.5 million in assets or AU$250,000 annual earnings for the last two years.

Sophisticated investor

Demonstrate your knowledge by completing a short online test.
You should have placed a minimum of 50 leveraged derivative trades per quarter for at least four quarters in the preceding three years, with a notional value of AUD $500,000 or more each quarter.
You can demonstrate this experience from your OANDA account or another provider (or a combination of both).
