Software Engineer (Salesforce), Toronto

You'll have chance to work on an array of cloud-based enterprise applications and perform real-time data or process integration by using state-of-art middleware software. Your team will handle millions of user accounts, tens of thousands of active clients, and your contribution will make an impact.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Configure, customize, and develop object oriented software for (Service Cloud, Sales Cloud etc)
  • Develop backend applications to interact with databases, such as DB2 and MySQL, and REST API services
  • Develop on middleware platforms, such as MuleSoft ESB, Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, ActiveMQ
  •  Analyze customer data, troubleshoot production issues and address requests from internal departments
  • Work with product management and internal shareholders to gather business requirements
  • Contribute to an agile process that ships code continuously


  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • 2-5 years of working experience with supporting production system
  • Good understanding of Object Oriented Design with 2-3 year programming experience in Java or Python
  • Solid technical background on SQL and database, such as DB2 and MySQL
  • Experience with Salesforce Apex, Visualforce and Lightning
  • Knowledge with Salefsorce Service Cloud and Sales Cloud administration is a strong asset
  • Experience with Linux or Unix platform and at least one scripting language, such as Korn Shell, Bash and Perl
  • Knowledge with middleware platforms, such as MuleSoft ESB, Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, ActiveMQ is a strong asset
  • Knowledge with ETL design and products, such as Informatica Cloud is a plus
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems
  • Web development experience in Javascript, HTML and CSS is plus
