ROLE SUMMARY:

Reporting into the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Recruiter is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment cycle for both business and technical positions within the organization. Working with internal and external recruiters, hiring managers and other initiatives/projects to source and develop a talent pipeline that allows the organization to respond quickly to changing business requirements.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

  • Manage full-life-cycle recruiting process for internal clients from role creation to onboarding
  • Identify creative sourcing opportunities to develop pipeline to both bring talent on board and cultivate relationships for future hiring situations
  • Work with clients to develop and post roles, screen and shortlist applicants.
  • Be a strong ambassador of the company by passionately articulating OANDA’s story and culture in the tech community and ensuring candidates have a clear understanding of the company and its values, the role and the expectations of the process.
  • Organize, lead and document post-interview debrief/feedback with interview teams and candidates.
  • Coach and develop interview skills of your clients to ensure the candidate experience is positive regardless of outcome.
  • Manage the presentation, offer negotiation, closing, and referencing/background checks involved in full lifecycle recruiting
  • Conduct follow-up calls and initiate quality improvement discussions with hiring managers and new hires
  • Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in best recruiting practices
  • Track analytical data regarding all facets of the hiring process, to include sourcing effectiveness, offer rate, accept rate, and other analysis as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Dynamic, creative, high energy individual with extensive experience in full lifecycle recruitment
  • 5+ years technical recruitment experience in a combination of corporate and agency environments
  • Manages competing, constantly changing demands positively while building strong, productive cross-functional and regional relationships
  • Experience in the financial or technology sectors would be a definite asset
  • An independent, self-directed individual who is not afraid to make decisions to develop, execute with precision and deliver on an assigned strategy
  • Solid analytical, quantitative and time management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects to deadline
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal) skills with an ability to adjust messaging dependent on audience you are addressing
  • Superior internet research and ATS management skills combined with excellent computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
