Inside Sales Representative, Toronto

Position Summary

The main role of an Inside Sales rep is to convert prospective customers who currently use our free web services or have sign up for a trial account into our automated subscription service. Our currency expertise and data is considered the most authoritative in the industry. Our portfolio serves some of the world’s top brands in leading industries.

No cold-calling is required. Our fast growing team is fueled by quality leads driven by our strong brand and industry awareness in FX services. Perfect entry position for a career in sales and business development.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Calling leads generated by OANDA marketing activities
  • Drive sales for business products and services
  • Meets or exceeds revenue targets for business
  • Responsible for educating customers on our the value of FX data
  • Responsible for documenting all client communications in Salesforce®
  • Work with industry partners who refer business to OANDA
  • Learn SaaS model
  • Attend sales meetings


  • Bachelor’s degree  preferred or  2 to 5 years of related  experience
  • Experience selling e-commerce products to corporations an plus
  • Demonstrated desire and willingness to continually upgrade skills and training  with regards to  financial markets, combined with an interest in international business
  • An independent, self-directed individual who is not afraid to make decisions to develop, execute and deliver on an assigned strategy
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills combined with the ability to grasp complex concepts quickly, identify key messaging for different audiences
  • Positive attitude, flexible nature, thriving in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • A highly detailed individual with the ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines while managing multiple projects
  • Ability to cultivate meaningful relationships and work effectively with cross-functional teams while remaining decisive and displaying sound judgment
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience in Salesforce® a plus
  • Solid analytical, quantitative, verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in the financial industry or technology sectors would be a plus
