The main role of a Forex Sales Specialist is to help prospective clients with their enquiries and increase the number of new live trading accounts. A large part of the sales activities take place over telephone calls to prospective clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform outbound calls to prospective clients with demo and live trading applications
  • Deliver prepared sales talks and scripts that describe OANDA’s services with the aim to convert leads into live trading accounts
  • Consistent follow up with clients via phone calls or emails through the client activation process
  • Assist clients with inquiries on the trading platforms, products, onboarding and funding procedures
  • Participate in the company’s marketing activities and promotional campaigns for customer acquisition and conversion
  • Stay informed about the financial markets in order to spot trends, look for new opportunities and establish credibility with our clients by understanding their requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, or 1 to 3 years of related experience in the financial industry or technology sectors preferred
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office, experience in Salesforce would be an asset
  • Proven track record in a sales environment
  • Ability to grasp complex concepts quickly, and able to identify key messaging for different audiences
  • Independent, self-directed and not afraid to make decisions to develop, execute and deliver on an assigned strategy
  • Positive attitude, flexible nature, a person who would thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Knowledge of forex, CFD trading and the markets is desirable
  • Passion for phone sales is a must
