Reporting to the Deputy Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering Officer, the Customer Service Specialist is the primary, front-line point-of-contact for our customers and will handle all customer questions and inquiries with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism.   

Specific Duties:

Responsible for the processing of all incoming documentation, responding to client inquiries and making any necessary administrative changes and updates to a client profile. Review and verify all incoming documents

Accurately process and enter highly sensitive client information into the system

Maintain a well-developed knowledge of Compliance and Regulatory requirements across all OANDA Divisions

Ensuring documentation submitted corresponds and pertains to the appropriate account and client

Correspond with clients in a professional and courteous manner with regards to documents, status of accounts etc.

Protecting the confidentiality of client information

Assist customers with administrative requests and inquiries relating to their fxTrade accounts and currency trades

Provide basic login troubleshooting assistance to customers having difficulty accessing the

fxTrade platform.

Maintain a well-developed working knowledge of the complete line of products and services

offered by OANDA


Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

1 to 2 years of work experience, preferably in an administrative role

Strong PC skills, proficient in the use of  MS Office

Quick and accurate data entry skills with the understanding that there is minimal room for error

Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Strong time management and prioritization skills with the ability to multi-task

Detail and Results Oriented

Enjoys working in a fast past environment and eager to learn

Excellent communication skills, fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
