In 2001 we launched a trading platform that helped pioneer the development of online-based trading around the world, enabling forex and CFD investors the ability to trade the financial markets with confidence and convenience.

OPPORTUNITY

We’re now looking for a consumer insights manager to help shape the future of our trading platforms and products. This role will be leading the research and competitor analysis activities at OANDA, working in partnership with the product and design teams to discover opportunities and advocate the clients’ needs as part of our product roadmap.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform competitor analysis and assess industry trends, in partnership with the product team
  • Conduct qualitative research using internal and external data, in partnership with the BI team
  • Plan and organise in-person and virtual research activities, in partnership with the design and product team
  • Produce clear, concise ad hoc and monthly reports containing actionable insight to help drive business initiatives
  • Manage vendors and costs associated with research activities

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

  • 3+ years experience in a research role
  • Degree in psychology or other relevant qualification

Desired but not Essential

  • Financial markets knowledge
  • CFD/FX industry knowledge
  • Background in data analytics
