Affiliate Partner Sales Executive, Toronto

OANDA Corporation is looking for a Partner Sales Professional to join our team targeting Introducing Brokers (IB’s) and Affiliates in the US and Canadian markets. You must be motivated to achieve sales targets and be genuinely interested in the fast-paced Forex and CFD industry.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a talented Salesperson with success in a target-driven environment. You will have a superb telephone manner and be confident in communicating OANDA’s value proposition to potential IB’s and Affiliates. You will have the opportunity to travel to attend events and meet clients or partners in the US and Canada.

Sales experience in the financial industry is not necessary but knowledge of the competitive landscape or existing relationships with partners would be an asset. Salary and benefits include a base + commission and flexible hybrid working arrangement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead Generation

  • Develop a pipeline of new IB & Affiliate business: Assess and generate newpartnerships with potential IBs and marketing affiliate partners via online tools,phone calls, events and networking.

Qualifying and Onboarding Partners

  • Contacting potential partners and converting them to the partner programme,including negotiating terms and handling objections where applicable
  • Gathering KYC documentation from partners, checking and submitting forprocessing with the KYC team

Client Conversion

  • Monitor and assess inflow of clients from partners and work with these partners to increase client traffic and conversion rates IB Partner Management
  • Ongoing management and optimisation of IBs to increase traffic
  • Answering questions concerning OANDA’s products and services
  • Operating Cellxpert partners portal
  • Meeting or exceeding sales targets, as set by management
  • Documenting all client communications in Salesforce®
  • Attending and contributing to sales meetings & weekly partner sales meetings with the Partnership team
  • Working to company policies, processes, procedures and standards

EXPERIENCE

  • Industry licensing: Has or can obtain NFA Series 3 & 34 licenses
  • Minimum of 3 year’s sales experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are mandatory
  • Ability to grasp complex concepts quickly
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
