SVC - El Salvador Colon

The Salvadoran colon (SVC) was the official currency of El Salvador until 2001. It was replaced by the US dollar with a fixed exchange rate of 1 USD = 8.75 SVC. Although the Salvadoran colon remains a legal tender, it no longer circulates and is rarely used. On 7 Sept 2021, Bitcoin became legal tender in the country, along with the US dollar. El Salvador is the first country that has adopted Bitcoin globally.

ILS - Israeli New Shekel

The Israeli new shekel (ILS) is the currency of Israel and the Palestinian territories of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. It is also known as the Israeli shekel and is subdivided into 100 agorot. The symbol of the currency is ₪. The new shekel was introduced in 1986, replacing the old shekel at the rate of 1,000:1.
