Based in London, Kurt vom Scheidt is OANDA's Chief Operating Officer, responsible for leading the trading, product management, financial risk, business operations and FX Data Services teams.

A seasoned professional with more than 30 years' experience in the investment banking and financial services sector, specialising in foreign exchange, he has worked with several international banks and brokers over the years, playing an instrumental role in improving product expertise and overseeing the trading infrastructure.

Kurt holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia University in New York and a BSc in Finance and Statistics from Syracuse University.
