Kittu Kolluri is a General Partner at New Enterprise Associates. He invests in information technology companies and serves as a director on several boards. Kittu brings more than 17 years of experience at the leading edge of the technology industry. He holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India, and a M.S. in Operations Research from the State University of New York, Buffalo.
Renato Fassbind is an independent senior advisor and board member of several prestigious financial companies, including Vice-Chairman of Swiss Re Holding AG. From 2004 to 2010 he served as the Chief Financial Officer and a member of the executive board for Credit Suisse. He has held a number of other leadership positions in global corporations, including CFO of ABB Ltd. and Chief Executive Officer of Diethelm Keller Gruppe. He is a member of the Swiss Association of Public Trustees and he has a Ph.D. in Economics and a M.B.A. from the University of Zurich.
Michael Stumm is a co-founder of OANDA. He has a Ph.D. in computer science and is a tenured professor of computer engineering at the University of Toronto. A specialist in distributed and parallel systems, internet technology, and e-commerce, Michael has authored more than 100 scientific articles in leading peer-reviewed journals and has five published U.S. patents. He has contributed his expertise to institutions such as IBM, Stanford University, the University of Toronto, and the ETH in Zurich.
Danny Rimer is a partner at venture capital firm Index Ventures and an investor in Internet infrastructure software and services companies. He serves as a director on boards that include Etsy and Flipboard. He is also an observer on the Dropbox board, and is a director of Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centers and SFMOMA. Prior to joining Index Ventures in 2002, Danny was a general partner of The Barksdale Group, where he invested in a dozen companies. He holds an A.B. from Harvard College.
Mich Mathews is the former CMO and SVP of the Microsoft Corporation. As the head of marketing she was instrumental in driving growth of Microsoft’s business across a diverse set of household brands including Windows, Office, Xbox and Bing. She helped establish Microsoft as one of the most admired global brands. Mich retired from Microsoft in 2011 after 22 years. She is now an angel investor and is on the advisory boards of Yoshimoto Kogyo and Nerdist Industries, and the digital advisory board of Unilever.
K Duker is Chief Executive Officer of OANDA Corporation. He has a strong track record as an executive leader in the foreign exchange business and in driving successful business growth. Before becoming CEO, K was Managing Director of OANDA Asia Pacific and was responsible for overseeing the company’s operations in the region. Prior to joining OANDA, K worked at Deutsche Bank for nearly ten years, where he headed up the bank’s eFX business in Asia Pacific. In that role he implemented dbFX – the first retail online forex trading platform from a major bank. K is also Chairman of FX Architects and a Non-Executive Director of Fidelity Bank in Ghana. He has an MBA from UCLA Business School.
Tim Smart has more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance, planning, and reporting, as well as business development activities including mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Prior to joining OANDA, he held senior finance positions at Audatex Canada, Q9 Networks Inc. and First Asset Management Inc. Tim is a Chartered Accountant, and holds a Masters in Business Administration and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University.
Before joining OANDA in 2005, Michael Borland had 18 years of legal and management experience in the IT sector with the Canadian and Americas divisions of several Fortune 100 companies, including Digital Equipment Corporation, Compaq Computer Corporation, and Hewlett-Packard Company. Michael has a B. Comm. degree from the University of Toronto and a LL.B in law from the University of Western Ontario.
Stacey Grant-Thompson specializes in building branded businesses utilizing pragmatic strategies, analytical problem-solving and data-driven marketing solutions. As CMO of OANDA, she leads the global marketing team to drive the company’s business growth worldwide. Before joining OANDA she was Vice President and General Manager of Chatr, Rogers’ discount prepaid wireless business. Prior to that, she served as Senior Vice President of Marketing at ING DIRECT Canada. Stacey holds a M.B.A. from INSEAD and an H.B.A. from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
Natasha Lala oversees company engineering and operations to ensure they are aligned with OANDA’s strategic direction. Before joining OANDA in 2003, Natasha led large scale client-facing projects in the CRM, telecom, and financial industries for SOMA Networks and IBM. She has a degree in computer engineering from the University of Toronto.
Courtney has worked at OANDA since 2003, leading a number of engineering and operations teams. In his present role he is responsible for the strategic growth of the firm's electronic trading business and coordination of the global trading group. He has more than 20 years of experience in software development, architecture, and performance analysis on real-time and financial systems. For the past 12 years, Courtney has lectured and coordinated courses for undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Toronto, where he holds an adjunct appointment with the university's computer engineering faculty. Courtney works closely with OANDA's Research, Analytics and Engineering teams to architect, evaluate, and optimize real-time trading system performance. He is responsible for analyzing market risk, growing OANDA's product offerings, and maximizing trading revenue for OANDA and its customers.
Trevor Young oversees the development of OANDA’s retail trading platforms, including web, desktop, mobile, API, and third party applications. He is a senior product architect with more than a decade of experience specializing in financial applications. Before joining OANDA, Trevor was Director of Product Development at EnStream. Prior to this he served in various technical roles for Eontec Canada, iAnywhere, Sybase, and Kellogg’s Canada. Trevor holds a B.Math degree from the University of Waterloo and a Masters in computer science from the University of British Columbia.
Jesper Bruun-Olsen leads OANDA’s Northeast Asia division with an energetic, entrepreneurial approach to growing the business in this strategic region. Prior to joining OANDA Mr. Bruun-Olsen spent 11 years at Tradeweb, most recently as Managing Director, Asia-Pacific, where he successfully guided the new client acquisition strategy. He also previously served as the Chief Sales Manager at Nordea Bank AB where he was responsible for building new, and maintaining existing, client relationships with institutional investors in Asia and Europe.
Rajesh Yohannan leads OANDA’s Asia Pacific business headquartered out of Singapore. An entrepreneurial, results-oriented executive with extensive experience in financial services, digital marketing, mobile banking, mobile payments, call center management, operations and technology, Rajesh is responsible for driving OANDA’s continued growth across the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to joining OANDA, Rajesh was the Managing Director and Global Mobile Banking Head at Citibank. During a decade of service with that financial institution, he was also Regional eBusiness and Direct Banking Head for Citibank’s consumer business across 14 markets in Asia Pacific. Rajesh holds a Bachelors of Engineering in Computer Science and an MBA from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
