Kittu Kolluri is a General Partner at New Enterprise Associates. He invests in information technology companies and serves as a director on several boards. Kittu brings more than 17 years of experience at the leading edge of the technology industry. He holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India, and a MS in Operations Research from the State University of New York, Buffalo.
Michael Stumm is a co-founder of OANDA. He has a Ph.D in computer science and is a tenured professor of computer engineering at the University of Toronto. A specialist in distributed and parallel systems, internet technology, and e-commerce, Michael has authored more than 100 scientific articles in leading peer-reviewed journals and has five published U.S. patents. He has contributed his expertise to institutions such as IBM, Stanford University, the University of Toronto, and the ETH in Zurich.
Mich Mathews is the former CMO and SVP of Microsoft Corporation. As the head of marketing, she was instrumental in driving growth of Microsoft’s business across a diverse set of household brands including Windows, Office, Xbox, and Bing. She helped establish Microsoft as one of the most admired global brands. Mich retired from Microsoft in 2011 after 22 years. She is now an angel investor and is on the advisory boards of Yoshimoto Kogyo and Nerdist Industries, and the digital advisory board of Unilever.
Kuno Kennel is a veteran of the European financial industry, and has more than 22 years of experience including Managing Director roles with both Barclays Capital and RBS Global Banking & Markets in Switzerland. In addition to his seat with OANDA and other prestigious financial companies, Kuno is currently Chairman of the Board at leading Swiss retail bank Schwyzer Kantonalbank. He holds a Certified European Financial Analyst designation, as well as being a graduate of INSEAD’s International Executive Programme.
Jan Hammer is a partner and investor at the venture capital firm Index Ventures. He also serves as a board member for Credit Benchmark, BitPay, and Adyen. Prior to joining Index Ventures in 2010, he worked at General Atlantic in London. Before that, Jan worked at Morgan Stanley in M&A, technology, media, and telecommunications, and at its capital markets divisions in London and New York. He holds a MBA with Distinction from INSEAD, and a MA in philosophy, politics, and economics from the University of Oxford.
Ed Eger is a seasoned financial services veteran with deep international payments, management, branding, and risk management experience. Before being appointed OANDA’s President and CEO in 2013, Ed was the Senior Vice President and General Manager, Americas, for PayPal Inc., where he was responsible for establishing PayPal as the preferred online payment method for consumers and merchants in the U.S., Canada, and emerging markets across Latin America. Prior to joining PayPal, Ed served in multiple senior management roles at Citibank, most recently as the CEO, International Cards, where he managed Citi’s multi-billion dollar consumer credit card business. Before Citi, he served in senior management positions with several leading companies including Advanta, Standard Chartered Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, and McKinsey & Company. He has a BA in economics and mathematics from Claremont McKenna College in Southern California and a MBA from Harvard Business School.
Vatsa Narasimha is responsible for managing OANDA’s corporate strategy and driving growth in new geographies. Previously a Principle with The Boston Consulting Group, Vatsa worked with financial institutions on a variety of growth strategy, corporate development and operational issues. He holds a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, as well as a MBA in Mergers & Acquisitions from The Wharton School.
Graeme Whittington joined OANDA in 2013 and is responsible for leading the development and delivery of the company’s products and services. With more than 16 years of experience in the technology industry, Graeme came to OANDA after holding several senior roles at Blackberry, including Vice President of BlackBerry Service Operations. He graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University and holds both a MA and a MBA from the University of Windsor.
As CMO, Drew Izzo leads OANDA’s globally dispersed marketing teams. An entrepreneurial, collaborative, and dynamic business leader with marketing and forex industry experience, he joined OANDA in May, 2014. Previously, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Athlete.com, a company he cofounded. Prior to that, Drew served in senior marketing and management roles for various companies including Interbank FX (acquired by TradeStation in 2012) and Ancestry.com. He holds a MBA and a Masters Certificate in Marketing from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah, and a BSc from the University of Massachusetts.
Natasha Lala is responsible for coordinating strategic initiatives at the executive level, ensuring follow-through on the part of key players, and sustaining momentum needed to drive these initiatives. She has held several leadership positions within the company, including most recently the Vice President of Engineering. Before joining OANDA in 2003, Natasha led large-scale client-facing projects in the CRM, telecom, and financial industries for SOMA Networks and IBM. She has a BASc in computer engineering from the University of Toronto.
Courtney Gibson has worked at OANDA since 2003, leading a number of engineering and operations teams. In his present role he is responsible for the strategic growth of the firm's electronic trading business and coordination of the global trading group. He has more than 20 years of experience in software development, architecture, and performance analysis on real-time and financial systems. For the past 12 years, Courtney has lectured and coordinated courses for undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Toronto, where he holds an adjunct appointment with the university's computer engineering faculty. Courtney works closely with OANDA's Research, Analytics and Engineering teams to architect, evaluate, and optimize real-time trading system performance. He is responsible for analyzing market risk, growing OANDA's product offerings, and maximizing trading revenue for OANDA and its customers.
Trevor Young oversees the development of OANDA’s retail trading platforms, including web, desktop, mobile, API, and third party applications. He is a senior product architect with more than a decade of experience specializing in financial applications. Before joining OANDA, Trevor was Director of Product Development at EnStream. Prior to this he served in various technical roles for Eontec Canada, iAnywhere, Sybase, and Kellogg’s Canada. Trevor holds a B.Math degree from the University of Waterloo and a Masters in computer science from the University of British Columbia.
Kate Rundle provides OANDA with legal and governance advice. She is responsible for overseeing all of the company’s legal functions, practices, and policies worldwide. Prior to joining OANDA in 2014, Kate spent eight years as general counsel for two Silicon Valley public companies; Oclaro, Inc., and MIPS Technologies. Prior to that she spend nine years at Sun Microsystems and 10 years at the law firm Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati where she specialized in corporate, licensing, and intellectual property law. Kate holds a JD, Law, from the University of California’s Hastings College of the Law, and BAs in both political science and sociology, magna cum laude, from the University of California, Berkeley.
Daniel Skowronski leads OANDA’s European division headquartered in London, England. A global financial and forex industry veteran with more than 20 years’ experience, Daniel previously served as the Chief Executive Officer at Alpari UK where he established an exceptional track record as a results-oriented executive responsible for driving the firm’s global brand and geographic expansion strategies. He joined OANDA in May, 2014. Prior to his time at Alpari, he worked for several firms including Currenex, Bank of America, Commerce Bank and HSBC Hong Kong serving in various senior management roles. Daniel holds a BA in economics and a minor in East Asian studies from the University of Arizona.
Rajesh Yohannan leads OANDA’s Asia Pacific business headquartered in Singapore. An entrepreneurial, results-oriented executive with extensive experience in financial services, digital marketing, mobile banking, mobile payments, call center management, operations and technology, Rajesh is responsible for driving OANDA’s continued growth across the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to joining OANDA, Rajesh was the Managing Director and Global Mobile Banking Head at Citibank. During a decade of service with that financial institution, he was also Regional eBusiness and Direct Banking Head for Citibank’s consumer business across 14 markets in Asia Pacific. Rajesh holds a B.Eng in Computer Science and a MBA from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
Jesper Bruun-Olsen leads OANDA’s Northeast Asia division with an energetic, entrepreneurial approach to growing the business in this strategic region. Prior to joining OANDA Mr. Bruun-Olsen spent 11 years at Tradeweb, most recently as Managing Director, Asia-Pacific, where he successfully guided the new client acquisition strategy. He also previously served as the Chief Sales Manager at Nordea Bank AB where he was responsible for building new, and maintaining existing, client relationships with institutional investors in Asia and Europe.
A veteran of the FX and CFD industry, Louis Cooper joined OANDA in November, 2013. Formerly the Managing Director of CMC Markets in Australia, he played an integral role raising retail traders’ awareness of CFDs in Australia, New Zealand, and across the Asia-Pacific region. Under his leadership, CMC Markets became the No. 1 provider of CFDs for Australian traders. In 2012, he was voted one of the “Top Five Executives in Australia” by CEO Magazine.
With nearly two decades’ experience in the financial services industry, Gavin Ward has served in a variety of senior management positions in finance, operations, and sales with extensive pan-European and Asian exposure. He is responsible for driving OANDA’s growth in the Greater China region. He joins OANDA from CMC Markets, where he held various roles, most recently as Head of Asia and as a member of the firm’s General Executive Committee. Gavin holds a dual honors BA from King’s College, University of London, and is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant.
