Enhancing an innovative idea

Conceptually, fxTradeNOW started out as a widget similar to the Facebook “Like” button that evolved from one of our quarterly internal hackathons. It was developed into a plugin for the Chrome browser – the first plugin of its kind for trading forex. It was embraced by many active day traders following its October 2012 debut.

From the get-go, fxTradeNOW included real-time price quotes for currencies, price charts in multiple timeframes, and the ability to enter take profit, stop loss, and trailing stop orders. Its smart scanning technology automatically searches website text for mentions of currencies and pre-loads current price data. If more than one currency is referenced on a webpage, a dropdown menu allows users to select which pair they wish to trade.
